Skala city is the biggest and the first specialized indoor climbing gym in Moscow. It combines almost unlimited basis for work outs and infrastructure of a modern fitness center.
The climbing wall, produced by Walltopia, company based in Bulgaria, is the heart of Skala city climbing gym, its surface area is 437 m2 and its height is 12 m.
Today the climbing wall of Skala city featured by all types of relief, produced of both plywood and plastic panels is the most sophisticated simulator in Moscow.
The slopes are divided in such a way that 60 % are straight (vertical), which makes them suitable for amateurs and people, who do indoor climbing to stay fit or for fun, while 40 % has negative slope, which is perfect for strong climbers.
The routes start from 4 C for true amateurs and kids and finish up at 8 A+ , which is a real challenge. Routes are built of holds of the same color, so that it is really easy to distinguish bitween routes. Even staying at the ground level You can "read" the route.
Every route's bottom hold has a passport beneath it, containing information abouts its level, its author and sometimes a name, so that You can memorise the routes You like (or dislike).

What we have got. In order to make You feel comfortable we offer you the following options:
Checkroom, where You can leave safely Your coat.
Dressing rooms equipped with lockers.
Showers, equipped with boilers so that we always have hot water.
Steam saunas, which feel just marvellous after a good work out. Available to all visitors.
A small bar, right next to the climbing wall, where You can buy soft drinks, chocolate bars or a sandwich. Also offers sushi on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We also rent out climbing equipment.
Right next to the entrance there is a small outdoor shop, where You can buy shoes, magnesium or whatever you need.
A bouldering gym at the 2nd floor
At the third floor we have a gym, where You can warm up running or stepping. Also available for separate fitness work outs.

Location
Skala-city climbing gym is located bitween two metro stations "Kutuzovskaya" and "Park Pobedy", West of Moscow. You will have to take the side of Kutuzovskii prospekt, where "Borodinskaya panorama" and "SportMaster" sport store are located.
The entrance to the gym territory is right next to the sport store, there is a turnpike, You'll have to go along the yellow building and take the second entrance (Entrance №2).
You will have to go trough the building's №2 entrance and there You will see the climbing gym.
